1. Who We Are
EXCEED (“EXCEED,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a global platform for lifelong growth and transformation, owned and operated by Vertical Momentum (Pvt) Ltd, a company duly incorporated under the laws of Zimbabwe, registration number 7660/2015 (“the Company”).
This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal information of members, prospective members, and visitors to www.exceedmyself.com, in accordance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] of Zimbabwe (“the Act”).
2. What We Collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, phone number, employer/role (used to set your membership category), and login credentials.
- Payment information for annual membership fees.
- Activity information: content and evidence you submit for Business Events, Publications, Consultancy, Coaching & Mentorship, SANO7, SEAT AFRICA Speakers, WenCHAM, Self-Driven Activities, and Other Verified Activities, along with the Personal Development Credits (PDCs) you earn.
- Technical information: IP address, browser/device details, and cookies when you use the Platform.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, biometric) unless you voluntarily provide it as part of activity documentation, with your explicit consent.
3. Why We Use It

4. Who We Share It With
- Strategic partners (e.g., SEAT AFRICA, WenCHAM), only where needed to deliver an activity you’ve engaged with.
- Service providers supporting hosting, payments, and platform operations, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- POTRAZ or other authorities, where required by law.
- Other members, only where you’ve chosen to make information public (e.g., a published article or speaker profile).
We do not sell your personal information. Any transfer of your data outside Zimbabwe is made only where the receiving country offers adequate protection, or under appropriate safeguards, as required by the Act.
5. How We Protect It
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and confidentiality obligations for staff, to protect your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, as required under the Act. We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law, and delete or anonymise it thereafter.
6. Your Rights
Under the Act, you can:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with POTRAZ if you believe your data has been misused.

8. Children
EXCEED is built for working professionals and organisational leaders and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated directly to members; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
